I traveled to Boston Massachusetts for a baby shower, and my family and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston. While my fiancée was busy with my sister-in-law at the shower, my brothers and I enjoyed some of the amenities the hotel had to offer. We took a swim in the indoor pool and whirlpool, used the free wireless internet to find a restaurant near the hotel to eat, and pumped some iron in the exercise room that had both cardio equipment and free weights. The Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston also has many other amenities such as complimentary parking, 24 hour shuttle to Logan Airport, free coffee and tea in the lobby, coin operated laundry, safe deposit box, gift stores, a full service business center, restaurants & lounges, a courtyard lounge and very comfortable beds.
Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston has very cozy and spacious rooms. The bedding was made with a thicker mattress and very fluffy pillow (Sometimes chain hotels do not have the greatest bedding. The Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston is definitely an exception). The room also had pretty comforters, a coffee maker, ironing board, satellite service for the flat screen TV and nice décor. For breakfast we ate right there at the hotel. The breakfast had everything you could imagine and the best part was that you could have as much as you wanted! (Needless to say I took full advantage of this offer)
The Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston is a very quiet place situated close to Logan International Airport. Even though the hotel is not directly situated in the heart of Boston, it was very close to everything Boston has to offer! We ate at the Arabic restaurant, The Red Fez for dinner located 5 minutes, by car, from the Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston on Washington Street. The Red Fez offers live Arabic music, delicious food and belly dancing! It was truly an awesome place to experience if you are traveling to Boston. You will be pleased all around at The Red Fez!
Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston is a hotel close to it all at a very reasonable price. No matter if you are in town for a baby shower or a friend’s wedding, you can’t go wrong with the Courtyard by Marriott- South Boston.
